Laura Walker 

Laura Walker is a lifelong dancer and has been practicing yoga since 1999. Having discovered a deep connection between spirituality and movement, she believes that the focus and physical discipline of a dedicated yoga practice is the gateway to the mind-body connection needed in dance.  Laura holds a BA in Humanities from San Francisco State University, a 500 hour certification from the National Yoga Alliance and dance certifications from Suhaila Salimpour’s School of Dance and Carolena Nericcio of San Francisco’s Fat Chance Belly Dance.  Laura currently teaches yoga at Santa Cruz Yoga and Ease Mountain Yoga in Ben Lomond and is the director of Calla Lily Tribal Belly Dance in Santa Cruz.
