Michelle has always lived in deep connection with the natural world. She first started gardening in 1986 after serving as Peace Corps Volunteer in the Philippines—for 30 years. Michelle has passed on the art and wisdom of hand-tilled organic agriculture. She created abundant gardens in Mexico, Nepal, and the United States. She presently is the Garden  Manager and Intern Coordinator at the Occidental Arts and Ecology Center (OAEC). She has studied Western Herbalism, medicine making, plant spirit wisdom, Ayurveda, and the work of Weston A. Price DDS.

Michelle has also developed diverse skills in tending the “Inner Landscape” (Naka-Ima, Feeding Your Demons, Soul retrieval, and Journey work). She is dedicated to supporting others to move through their personal challenges and manifest their gifts in the world.
