SenaKugbega

Sena has been teaching African dance/drumming since she was a teenager and she has been drumming, dancing and performing since the age of 7. She has taught at many elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and vacation schools with kids as young as 3 years old. She has also been teaching at at Born To Drum camp since she was 19 and she loves it.

Sena was born and raised in Ghana, west Africa, so her style of teaching is mainly Ghanaian rhythms, which also involves storytelling and singing. She is delighted to share her culture and story of being a woman drummer with many at this year's Herbal Symposium. She lives in Santa Rosa, CA.
