Tara is a passionate Percussionist and Healer with a private practice, Inner Rhythms, in Sebastopol, CA. She began drumming in l993 and performed with Mamaya, a women’s percussion ensemble for ten years, traveled to Ghana, West Africa to study dance and rhythm and has drummed for rituals and dance classes for the past 15 years.

She incorporates rhythm into her healing sessions as a Hypnotherapist and believes that Music is Medicine. Tara offers a safe and playful style to facilitate women’s drum community and encourages women and girls of all ages to find their own Inner Rhythms and come into harmony as a collective group.
