Christa Sinadinos

Christa Sinadinos is the founder and director of the Northwest School for Botanical Studies in Arcata, California. Since 1998, she has offered a two- phase, 400- hour Professional and Clinical Herbalist Training program offered once a year. She has practiced clinical herbalism professionally for 20 years, working with a wide range of clients from infants to seniors, incorporating western constitutional therapies into her practice and teachings. She is dedicated to the conservation and cultivation of medicinal herbs, and maintains an herbal demonstration garden with more than 200 species.

Christa is also the proprietor of Alpine Meadow Botanicals, an herbal extract business founded in 1994. She maintains an extensive herbal pharmacy with many organic, locally cultivated herbs, as well as herbs she has carefully wildcrafted or grown. She is working on her first book this year, and currently writes articles for Plant Healer Magazine, A Journal of Traditional Herbal Medicine.
