Miriam has been a midwife since 1988 and has attended over 300 births in various settings. Specializes in water births and has trained midwives in other countries including Russia and Senegal.

She has taught classes in Arizona and spent years in a rural practice in the tri- state area of the Appalachian Mountains. Currently she lives in Northern California, teaches child-birth education and pre-natal yoga. She works with Serena Russell her dear and trusted friend.
