Ms Beatrice is a traditional Mayan healer from a small village in Belize, Central America. She is the mother of 13 children, daughter of a shaman and granddaughter of the local midwife.
She learned and has practiced bush medicine and woman medicine for over 25 years as a shaman, herbalist, midwife and teacher. She works with the powerful plants of the rainforest and uses prayer, dream visions and Mayan massage to heal as well as teaches these alternative ways of healing as a way of maintaining both physical and spiritual health.
