Eli Painted Crow is the founder of Turtle Woman Rising an indigenous women’s drumming group. Eli teaches women's studies and drum keeping along with working actively in the peace movement. Her life work is motivated by empowering women to stand for peace.

Eli and Seawytch will be tending the central fire during the fall session with the intention of lighting our way forward in these times of change. Envisioning a bright future for all, beings.
