Jen Bredesen

Jen has loved plants ever since her childhood in MN when she would make "brews" in a bucket in the driveway using rain water, mud and plants. She's had many plant and people teachers over her lifetime and would like to credit the Earth; traditional & traveling herbalists in Central America; Cress Spring Farm, Lori & Jessa in WI, and her own health challenges as being early Herbal inspirations.

Making medicines & brewing herbal beer for the past 6 years has given her another angle on creative & traditional ways to incorporate herbs into a sustainable lifestyle.

Jen has a clinical practice in Sebastopol at the dhyana Center of Health Sciences. She sees clients for Herbal & Nutritional Consultation, Lymph Drainage Bodywork and Pancha Karma Ayurvedic Rejuvenation Therapies.

She believes that health challenges are opportunities for personal transformation and rejuvenation, and wants her clients to feel empowered around their health. By developing some clear strategies for supporting their health using herbal remedies, at home self-care, whole food nutrition, pulse assessment, lymphatic drainage massage, Marma Chikitsa, Reflexology, Pancha Karma, Netra Basti eye bath, and other Ayurvedic treatments, Jen offers her clients practical support on their health & healing journeys.

Jen appreciates all of her many teachers including DeAnna Batdorff, James Snow, 7Song, Matthew Wood, Adam Seller & the staff at the Institute for Conscious Bodywork Alive & Well. She has been co-running the First Aid aspect of the Wellness Center for the past 6-1/2 years.
