Class Proposal #1

Beginning

  • Students have just begun and do not yet use many herbs on their own.
  • Students are not able to identify many common medicinal plants in their area.
  • Classes are paced slowly with plenty of time for any and all questions.

Intermediate

  • Students feel comfortable using several herbs themselves and do so when needed.
  • Students are able to identify some common medicinal plants in their area.
  • Students are becoming familiar with some plant actions and medical terminology.

Advanced

  • Students use herbs themselves and feel confident recommending herbs to others.
  • Students are familiar with most plants in their area.
  • Students understand plant actions and are comfortable using herbal and medical terminology as appropriate.
  • Students are familiar with many plant constituents.
  • Classes are paced quickly, if appropriate, and do not answer or address beginning and intermediate questions.
