Welcome to Marketplace
This is a wonderful time to relax, be together, and share our creative wares with each other.
Here are a few guidelines to help it run smoothly.
Wares
To honor our own hand-made art, crafts, and wares, only items that you have hand-made yourself will be permitted. If you have any questions about this please contact us.
Times
Marketplace is held on Sunday 1:00-4:30 p.m.
Set-up begins at 12:30 p.m. - and no sooner.
Lunch will be served at 1:00 p.m.
Dinner will be served early, at 5:00 p.m.
Please have every thing put away by dinnertime.
Donation
At the end of Marketplace a donation is appropriate and appreciated.
10% or more of sales is suggested and appreciated.
This is an important way to support Marketplace sustainability.
A couple of women will walk around with donation cans at the end of Marketplace.
There will also be donation cans near the Organizer’s tipi.
Set Up
At 12:30 pick a spot on the ground and set-up with your blanket, mat, or table.
Please be considerate of each other and share the shade.
Nothing is to be set up before 12:30 p.m., not even a blanket or small box, in order to not disrupt morning classes.
Please don’t set your stuff on the sides of the tipis in anticipation either. This creates others feeling anxious to get their items out too, and it encumbers walking and moving about.
Shuttle
A shuttle will begin at 12:30 p.m. Sunday to bring items into camp from the parking area, and will continue as needed.
It will shuttle items out 4:30-5:00 p.m.
No other vehicles allowed in camp.
Shade
We know that some women feel anxious about getting a shady spot, especially if it is a hot day, and their products will be affected by the sun.
We will move shade tarps into the main circle for Marketplace.
Please slip in close to each other and share these precious shade spaces.
Don’t be shy about asking to share.
Or, bring an umbrella to create your own shade.
