Chloe has been practicing and teaching Theatre of the Oppressed since 2014. She studied under Marc Weinblatt at the Mandala Center of Change, and since that time has been teaching workshops at skill shares, communities, activist circles and in public schools in Oregon and California.
She collaborates with artists at Synapsis, an artist space in Arcata, and is currently developing new curriculum that blends poetry and writing prompts with the Theatre of the Oppressed.
Chloe adapts Augusto Boal’s material to work with teenagers, since teenagers are so ready to be given this kind of space, and they respond with so much power, humor and grace.
Chloe lives on the Klamath and Salmon rivers, out in the mountains, and enjoys wild crafting, making medicines and exploring the high country meadows, trails and snow melt lakes.
