Rosie Hope

Rosie Hope picRosie is an enthusiastic 6th grade teacher living in the scenic Santa Cruz Mountains. With over a decade of experience, she brings a rich blend of academic excellence and a deep passion for nature to her teachings. Every summer, she dedicates her time to teaching at a primitive skills and ancestral crafting school in Mt. Shasta. There, she shares her expertise in natural dyeing, plant medicine, and basket weaving, while also working closely with young women to foster their skills and confidence.

In addition to her work in Mt. Shasta, Rosie actively participates in various women’s and skills gatherings, both teaching and learning from others dedicated to sustainable living and traditional crafts. Her love for nature and hands-on crafting is evident in her teaching style, as she seamlessly integrates outdoor activities and creative projects into her life. Rosie is committed to inspiring her students to explore, create, and connect with the natural world.
