Shereel Washington 

Shereel is an herbalist and the principal of Ixalted Natural Body Care & Botanicals, a business dedicated to health and body restoration through herbal solutions. Ixalted creates customized tea blends, extractions, infused oils, and herbal formulations to support and restore overall health and wellness. Founded in 2012, Ixalted initially offered aromatherapy blends, space sprays, and yoga mat cleaners. Over the years, Shereel has expanded the product and service offerings, continuing her work as a consultant and provider of herbal solutions.

Shereel is a certified Clinical Herbalist, having trained at the California School of Herbal Studies. She specializes in Advanced Therapeutics, Constitutional Evaluation, Materia Medica, Case Study Evaluation, Herbal Formulations, and Herbal Pharmacy, with over 1,200 hours of extensive training in herbal craft. The Cornell University Botanical Garden has recognized Shereel as a "Cultivator of Celebration" for its Seeds of Survival Exhibit. She serves as an herbal trainer and instructor in various certified herbal programs throughout the Bay Area, including at the Berkeley Herbal Center, California School of Herbal Studies (CSHS), Land of Verse, and the Northern California Women's Herbal Symposium (NCWHS).

Shereel has been featured on several herbal podcasts, including "Plant Spirit Medicine" with Sara Artemisia, "Learning Herbs - Herb Mentor," and "Gwendolyn Mitchell, Moyo Institute." As a practitioner and consultant in herbal health, healing, and nutrition, she serves diverse ethnic communities, promoting natural health care and wellness through plant medicine. Shereel is passionate about preserving the history and knowledge of Black North American Herbalism and expanding its current practice.
