Kate Furtner
Kate’s relationship with medicinal plants began in childhood, rooted in the landscapes of Northern California. Her lifelong passion led her to study ethnobotany at the University of Hawaii, followed by years of exploring traditional herbal medicine throughout South America, New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji. Now based in Sonoma County, Kate brings a blend of clinical expertise and ancestral plant wisdom to her work, balancing life as an ER nurse, clinical nurse-herbalist, and mother of three. She grows many of the herbs used in her formulations, creating small-batch organic remedies and body-care products that bridge modern healthcare with holistic, earth-based healing.
