Phylleri Ball
Phylleri has raised goats, sheep, poultry, working dogs and cats for 30 years using sustainable and regenerative farming practices. At Steam Valley Fiber Farm in Pennsylvania she managed 100 head of Border Leicester Sheep, Colored Angora Goats, and Nubian Dairy Goats. Livestock were fed organically with botanical medicine and homeopathy being the primary modalities for restoring health. Her Livestock Guardian Dogs and herding dogs have been fed a natural homemade diet for decades.
In addition to many years of experience in raising livestock, she has worked with Holistic and Homepathic Veterinarians. Her partner who is a Naturopathic Doctor specializing in homeopathy, has assisted in caring for their animals.
Phylleri first studied herbs with Rosemary Gladstar at the California School of Herbal Medicine. In September 2024, Phylleri and her husband relocated from high elevation in Colorado to an oceanside home in Crescent City, where she raises Nubians, chickens, vegetable and herb gardens, with the help of 2 Maremma Livestock Guardian Dogs, an English Shepherd and Sage Cat.
