Yvonne has been walking with the plants since 2007. She began her studies with Donna d’Terra, of the Yerba Woman Herbal Apprenticeship Program. She continued her herbal journey at the California School of Herbal Studies, where she completed both the Roots of Herbalism and Clinical Herbalism courses. Yvonne went on to study Ayurveda and Yoga, Philosophy at the PVA School of Ayurveda and Panchakarma Therapies in Kerala, India.

Yvonne Mayshark is the owner of Bhoomi Herbs, an herbal apothecary located in Ukiah, California. She teaches medicine making classes and Hatha Yoga classes throughout Mendocino County.
