Seeking adventure, personal growth, and a fresh perspective, Rayneisha embarked on an adult gap year that took her around the world. Along the way, she immersed herself in new cultures, landscapes, and traditions, discovering that travel has a remarkable way of reconnecting us with both nature and ourselves.

That journey led her to Cape Town, South Africa, where she enrolled in a soap-making class on a whim. What began as a simple afternoon workshop quickly became a passion. Inspired by the beauty of handcrafted goods and the natural ingredients used to create them, she returned home determined to continue learning the art of soap making.

Today, Rayneisha creates small-batch soaps through her business, Okun Ile, using thoughtfully selected botanicals, plant-based oils, clays, herbs, and other nature-inspired ingredients. Every bar reflects her appreciation for the earth's abundance and her belief that bathing is a ritual. She approaches soap making with creativity, intention, and respect for the natural elements that make it possible.

Through her workshops, Rayneisha loves sharing not only the techniques of soap making but also the joy of slowing down, working with your hands, and creating something useful from simple, natural materials. Whether someone is making their first bar of soap or exploring a new creative hobby, her goal is to inspire confidence, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation for the gifts of nature.
