Erica Moore

Erica, co-founder of Artemisia Institute, began teaching professionally in 1999.

She graduated with a BA in Studio Art from CSU Chico and the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy. She holds a teaching credential in Studio Arts from Cal Poly Humboldt.

Erica studied herbalism and nutrition for 2 years at the Living Awareness Institute in the Bay Area. She worked for 20 years teaching Art, Literature, & Nature Sciences in the California public school systems and in alternative education such as Bar-O Boys’ Ranch, Del Norte Juvenile Detention centers, and 7 years in Del Norte County Mental Health, creating programs in the Arts for youth and young adults.
