Sobande Greer

Since 1992, The NCB School of Herbalism & Holistic Health has stood at the forefront teaching students the art of herbalism & holistic health the old fashion way. What began as a herb catalog business quickly blossomed into a successful retail store. By 1999, the store was devastated by a tornado, so Sobande reshaped the vision and preservered in the ways of people long before her. Sobande began teaching classes and workshops at colleges & conferences. The founder's living room and backyard became the hub for retreats & holistic studies while her kitchen quickly blossomed into an amazing herbal apothecary.

Today, the NCB School of Herbalism is the oldest African American Herbal School in the South, hosting a diverse Herbal Certification Program, Sacred Waters Herbal Retreat for Women of Color & the United States first Afro Botany Immersion Conference & Certification Program. Sobande continues to be a trailblazer in her field as a world traveled speaker, master herbalist, teacher, consultant, author & spiritual life coach delivering high energy presentations with inspiration, humor, honesty and a down to earth style.
